- The smallest hill is about 100 feet to practice your takeoffs and landings. The climb to takeoff is very gradual and hence you can have multiple flights in one day.Soaring on this small hill is difficult for beginners. There are two other hills which have higher takeoffs and offer soaring flights. These hills are at remote locations hence flying should always be done in groups with logistic support. One can try multiple sites in one day to improve your skills.
